We will make every effort to verify your dental insurance before your initial appointment. On your follow-up consultation visit, we will go over your plan benefits with you, especially as it pertains to your treatment. We do accept insurance assignment for surgical procedures. It is important that our patients understand that any co-payment amount quoted is only an estimate. We have no way of knowing exactly what your insurance company will actually allow on specific procedures. Generally, it has been our experience that most insurance companies allow approximately 50% on periodontal treatment. On the day of your surgery visit you will be responsible for the estimated co-payment and we will file with your insurance company for the balance.
Please note that patients are responsible for any amount not covered by their insurance company or remaining balances 90 days following treatment. We do not accept insurance assignment for the initial visit, x-rays or follow-up hygiene visits, but we will be happy to provide you with a completed claim form that you can mail to your insurance company for reimbursement.
If you choose to pay for your surgery in full by cash or check on the day of treatment, we will offer a 5% discount off of the total surgery fee. For those who wish to pay by credit card for their surgical procedure, we will allow a 3% discount if paid in full. We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and Debit Cards.
